We’ve been having some crazy weather in my area. Freezing temps and a foot of snow one week, then over the weekend the temps climbed into the 60′s, and we were under a tornado watch as thunderstorms with 70 mph winds moved through. Now we have flooding in several areas, with temps dropping back down into the teens again. Definitely not what you would expect for December.

Christmas week is here. Are you all ready? Believe it or not, I am! All of the Christmas shopping is done, gifts are wrapped and under the tree, the turkeys are defrosting in the fridge, and all of my cookie baking is done. The only thing left to do is make some cupcakes and I can relax a little. What with the big dinner I will be cooking Christmas day, I have an easy and simple menu planned for the rest of the week.
