Don’t you hate how after chopping onions or garlic, the smell lingers on your hands for hours afterwards? No matter how many times you wash your hands with soap and water. To the rescue? A stainless steel spoon! That’s right, simply rub your hands with a stainless steel spoon under running water and that strong smell magically disappears. I use this trick a lot and it works every time.

I feel silly for buying a stainless steel bar that is shaped like soap and has it’s own little dish. I gave it to my mother in law and she still uses it after chopping onions, but little does she know a spoon would do the trick. LOL! I actually finally figured out that I could just rub my hands on my stainless steel sink after chopping them and the smell goes right away! Nice to know about the spoon too!
I always get a giggle out of those little stainless steel soap shaped bars whenever I see them in the store Veronica. The sink trick works well too!
