Recently I participated in a fun candy exchange called the Postcard Projects Sweetest Swap. Now that my swapees have received their sweet treats, I can finally share with you what I made.
This recipe has been floating around blogland for awhile now, and I’ve had it pinned for quite some time in the hopes of making it one day. Well, Valentine season was the perfect time to try this super easy fudge. All it takes is two ingredients. Yes, you heard me right, just two and in less then an hour you have delicious, creamy sweet fudge. It don’t get any easier then that folks.
The original recipe is for Strawberry Fudge, but you can make it any flavor you want just by changing the type of frosting used. I made strawberry and chocolate versions and my family loved them both. So much so that I had to make two batches in one day, because they ate the first one before I could get them wrapped up and sent out to my candy swap friends. If your looking for an easy no-fail fudge, then this one is for you.
Ingredients
- 1-16 oz can frosting {Whatever flavor you would like your fudge to be}
- 1-12 oz bag white chocolate chips
Directions
- Line a 9x9 pan with aluminum foil and grease lightly with butter.
- Place the white chocolate chips into a bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Give chocolate a good stir and continue microwaving in 15 second intervals, stirring each time until chocolate is smooth and completely melted.
- Stir in the frosting, making sure it is completely blended.
- Working quickly, spread mixture in your prepared pan and place in the fridge for 30 minutes to set.
- Lift fudge from pan by the foil and remove it from the fudge. Cut into squares to serve.
