Can you believe in less then 3 short months, just 82 days to be exact, Christmas will be here? When it comes to Christmas shopping, I started making homemade gifts 2 years ago and have never turned back. It means so much more when you give someone something you made yourself. It’s a lot more frugal to, especially when you have a large gift list.

Have you heard of these cute and super easy Chocolate Chip Cloud Cookies? They’re perfect for the holiday season with their red and green sprinkles. They come out crisp on the outside, and light and tender on the inside. Yummy and definitely addicting.

Pinch of Cream of Tartar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup sugar
24 ounces chocolate chips
Colored sugar sprinkles

With an electric mixer, beat egg whites, cream of tartar and salt until soft peaks form.

Add sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form.

Gently fold in chocolate chips.

Drop by heaping teaspoons onto greased or aluminum foil lined baking sheets. Sprinkle with colored sugar.

Bake at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until meringues are dry and crisp.

Cool on baking sheets for two minutes, then remove to wire racks to finish cooling completely.

Store in a airtight container, if they last that long.
