I found this recipe on The Pioneer Woman site and couldn’t wait to try it. I adapted it slightly by leaving the onions out and replacing them with onion powder, as most of my family doesn’t like them in ground beef. It reminds them to much of meatloaf, which they hate. They turned out delicious and my family loved them.

BBQ Meatballs

BBQ Meatballs

For The Meatballs

Meatball Recipe
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
Pure Olive Oil

For The Sauce

1 cup Ketchup
3 Tablespoons White Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire
1/2 Tablespoon Onion Powder
2 dashes Liquid Smoke
1 dash Tabasco

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine all of the meatball ingredients. Roll into medium-small balls and place on a cookie sheet. Place sheet in freezer for five minutes.
After 5 minutes, remove meatballs from freezer and immediately dredge in flour.
Brown meatballs in olive oil until just brown. Place into a baking dish.
Combine all of the sauce ingredients and pour over the meatballs.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
