Out of all the holidays, Thanksgiving is my favorite. A holiday centered around family, thankfulness and amazing food is the perfect way to spend time with our loved ones, without all of the hustle and glitz the other holidays seem to encourage.

This is my first time cooking Primal foods for my favorite holiday. And while my family stubbornly refused to give up some of their favorites, I think I have found a happy medium in what to serve. Since this is my first time preparing foods that fit my new way of eating, I turned to the internet and some of my favorite blogs in order to find some proven recipes that would fit in with what I’m used to cooking. Below is my list of what I would like to see gracing my table this year. All of them are either Paleo or Primal from real food bloggers, as well as several of my own personal recipes that I know are winners.

So get ready for a feast for the eyes as well as the taste-buds. Enjoy and have a very blessed Thanksgiving from my family to yours!

Happy first day of October! Can you believe we’re in the last quarter of the year? I sure cant. 2013 is speeding by and will be gone before we know it. Since most of us are getting into Fall baking, especially with pumpkin, I’m bringing you my roundup of delicious pumpkin recipes today. But these aren’t just any pumpkin recipes, they’re all Paleo or Primal recipes! Once you start scrolling through the pictures you’ll think I’m lying, but I swear I’m not. They’re all grain and refined sugar free, and only a couple of them call for butter, which can easily be swapped out for coconut oil if you don’t do dairy.

You’ll definitely be seeing a few of these on my blog soon.
