We’re still having crazy, Spring like weather in my area. It will remain in the high 40′s and 50′s for the first past of the week, but Winter will reappear by Friday with snow showers expected. Not my idea of fun, but what can you do but push through it and keep hoping for warm and sunny days.

Valentine’s day is this week. Does anyone have any special plans? We’ll be enjoying a quite evening at home with one of our favorite meals, along with a fun new dessert we want to try, Chocolate Fondue.

On a serious note. My thoughts and prayers are with those who were hit by the huge snow storm in the Northeast. As of Sunday night, the news said there are still around 219,000 people without power. May they be safe and warm and have their power restored quickly.

February has arrived and you can definitely tell! Extremely cold temps and snow have been the norm for the last several days. There will be a slight warm-up this week, with temps climbing into the 40′s, so I at least have that to look forward to. There are 44 days until Spring, but who’s counting? I am! :) I have someone else pulling for an early Spring with me to, Punxsutawney Phil predictd an early Spring, go Phil!

Rain, rain and more rain is forecast for my area this week. Well, at least it isn’t snow, and the temps are warming up to the 50′s and 60′s for the beginning of the week. I’m going to enjoy it to, because by Friday the temps are going to drop back into the 30′s. : ( Is this winter or spring?

Old Man Winter is back. While we enjoyed some warmer weather last week, with temps in the 40′s and 50′s, a cold front has moved in and we will be seeing highs in the 30′s and lows in the teens for the next several days. I seem to have caught another cold to, so I don’t look forward to this week being a very enjoyable one.
