The cold snap we had last week seems to have left our area thank goodness, and sunny Fall temps are back once again. Hopefully old man Winter will hold off a few more weeks. We’re still trying to finalize our plans to take our RV down to Florida in December. My husband is renovating it, and still has quite a bit more work left to do. If all goes as scheduled though, we will head out the first week of December and enjoy 5 months of mild temps and no snow.

Sorry for the lack of posts last week. What with all of the running around enjoy some Fall festivities, along with my son and his family moving onto our property, it was a busy week! I have some great things scheduled to post this week though, so hang on for an awesome DIY Cleaning Product, a review, several yummy recipes, and a round up of delicious Paleo and Primal Soups.

There will be some baking and comfort food cooking going on this week on the homestead. Winter is trying to rush Fall time out the door here in Southern Indiana. We’ll be having chilly highs in the 40′s and 50′s this week, and lows at night in the 20′s and 30′s. Brrr, I’m so not ready for this, and can hardly wait until December 3rd, when we head off to Florida for 5 glorious months.

This week is a pretty laid back one, no Festivals or anything special planned. We may go to Spring Mill State Park to take in the changing colors of the leaves this weekend, but who knows what surprises are around the corner?

What with the beautiful Fall weather we’re having, we have several fun outdoor activities planned this week. A visit to a local pumpkin patch with a hay ride included, along with a Fall festival are on the families calender.
