The weather was absolutely beautiful last week, what with the cool air that Canada pushed down our way. It was sunny, with temps in the 70′s during the day, and the 50′s and 60′s at night. It was like a little preview of the upcoming Fall season. Temps are back in the normal ranges of the 80′s and 90′s now for this time of year, but it was fun while it lasted.

I’m sharing my menu a day early this week, because tomorrow I’ll be posting a recipe for The Secret Recipe Clubs group C reveal.
This past week was filled with break downs unfortunately. The fuel pump went out in our Blazer, the gears were giving my husband trouble in his riding lawn mower, and the cable ends for the battery in my husband’s work truck had to be replaced. All during a big heat wave that is going on. Thank goodness my husband was able to fix all of these things himself, because Lord knows we couldn’t afford to have professional mechanics do the repairs!
