My daughter has been craving lasagna for awhile, so I added it to this weeks menu plan. It’s just to hot to turn my oven on though, so I decided to try and cook it in the crock pot. After looking up several different recipes, I found out there was no special recipe for it at all, the cooking method is just different. So I took my regular lasagna recipe, layered it in the crock pot, turned it on high and cooked it for 3 1/2 hours. Delicious, cheesy lasagna, without turning my oven on. Genius!
Crock Pot Five Cheese Lasagna
5-Quart Crock Pot
8 Lasagna Noodles
2 lbs Ground Beef, cooked and drained
2 – 26 ounce cans or jars of Spaghetti Sauce (Or try my homemade sauce)
2 cups Mozzarella Cheese
2 cups Colby-Jack Cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan-Romano Cheese
Start by spooning some of the spaghetti sauce on the bottom of your crock pot, enough to cover it. Take two of the lasagna noodles, and place them on top of the sauce, breaking them to fit.
