Dig IN, A Taste of Indiana will be showcasing Indiana’s top chefs, growers/producers, brewers and wineries on Sunday, August 26 at the White River State Park in Indianapolis. Indiana farmers and growers will share their high quality and locally produced products, and remind people that there is much more than corn in Indiana. Dig IN ~ A Taste of Indiana promises to be a feast for the senses that will take you on a journey from field to tabletop.
Visitors will be treated to tastes of unique dishes made with farm-fresh Indiana produce and meats. As an extra treat, the chefs will be discussing their recipes with visitors as they prepare them with all-Hoosier ingredients. Eating great food is awesome, but learning about it as well is even better!
Even the beverages offered there will have an Indiana flavor. Local wine and beer, as well as soft drinks and water will be served, ALL locally produced.
To top it off, local bands, urban gardening exhibits, educational discussion panels and local expert question and answer sessions will be offered throughout the day!
