Fall Bucket List

Posted in holiday

Happy first day of Fall! I’m so excited that it has finally arrived, it’s my favorite time of the year. We have been enjoying some beautiful Fall-like weather the last few weeks here in Southern Indiana. Mild, sunny days, and cool, snuggle-up-in-a-blanket temps at night. The leaves are just starting to turn colors, and I cant wait till they turn into the brilliant reds, yellows and oranges that happen during the month of October.

I’ve noticed a new trend the last couple of weeks in blog land. People have started putting together Fall Bucket Lists. I thought making one would be a great way of welcoming my favorite season in, as well as make sure that I actually accomplish some of the things that I’m looking forward to doing this year!

Attend a local Fall Festival.

Visit a Corn Maze.

Go on a Hay Ride.

Go for a nature walk and enjoy the beauty of the changing colors of the leaves.

Rake up leaves and jump in the piles.

Take a fall-themed family portrait.

Try butternut squash and other seasonal produce that I’ve never tried before.

Go apple picking.

Make an Apple Pie from scratch.

Make Homemade Caramel Apples.

Make an Apple Cider Float.

Make S’mores outside over a campfire.

Set up a Hot Chocolate Bar and let everyone add their own favorite goodies.

Go to a pumpkin patch and pick out a pumpkin.

Carve or paint a pumpkin.

  1. oooooo!! Love it and I’m gonna have to copy! The kids and I need to make a fall bucket list too! That’s a great idea and I really like the graphics you used to decorate your list. :)
