The weather is s-l-o-w-l-y inching it’s way toward more spring like temps. Mother nature missed the memo it seems that spring is officially here, and while she is giving us a few warm days here and there, she keeps throwing that wintery weather back into the mix. It’s been many years since I’ve seen winter hang on this long in my area, and I hope it’s many more years before I see it again.

Like I said though, we have had some nice, warm days here and there, and we have been taking advantage of them when they’re here! One of those days was spent cleaning up our property line, and removing some over grown brush to make our back yard bigger. We plan on putting a burn pit back there, and also a bean bag toss game so we can entertain a little more with family and friends during our cookouts. Saturday was spent breaking ground for our garden. While it may be a few more weeks before we can plant, the Old Farmers Almanac is recommending the first or second week of April for our area, we thought we could at least get the ground prepped.
