I seen this mentioned on The Life Of Us and after some research, knew I wanted to try it. I mean, how can you go wrong with a bread recipe fried in butter? :) It’s not something I will make often, cause I sure don’t need all those calories, but if your making an Indian meal, then this is the perfect accompaniment.
Naan
1/4 cup water
1 Tbs active dry yeast
1 Tbs sugar
1 cup water, lukewarm
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbs oil
2 tsp salt
5 cups bread flour
Mix water, yeast, and sugar in a small bowl until dissolved.
Stir lukewarm water, yogurt, egg, oil, and salt in a separate bowl. Stir in yeast mixture.
Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead 5-10 minutes. Place in greased bowl, and turn to grease both sides. Cover with damp cloth and let rise 1 hour. Separate dough into golf ball sized balls. Roll each to 1 1/16 thickness (they cook best when thin). Preheat frypan on stove to medium-high. Add 1/2 tsp butter to frypan and allow to melt. Place 1 round of dough at a time in frypan. Cook on each side until lightly browned and puffy (about 2-3 minutes per side). Wrap in a towel to keep warm while cooking the remaining breads.

that looks much better than mine!how did the chicken turn out?
The chicken turned out pretty good. I had a little mishap though and was unable to take a picture of it. I put them under the broiler to brown them up a bit, and left them a tad to long. :) They were still good, but pretty browned. lol I will make them again though, and get a picture next time. I couldn't find Garam Masala seasoning in my area, so I found a recipe online to make my own. I wasn't sure how it was going to taste with cumin and cloves in the same seasoning together, but it tasted wonderful. I will definitely make it again.
