How do you like your coffee? Usually I just add plain creamer to mine, decaf please. But when the cooler weather of Fall sets in, and the holidays along with it, I like to get a little festive and use flavored creamers instead. We’re enjoying some beautiful Fall like temps in Southern Indiana right now. That, along with all of the delicious pumpkin recipes that are starting to show up on blogs, put me in the mood for some pumpkin spice creamer.
I like making everything possible from scratch. Have you looked at the ingredients list of processed foods lately, store bought creamers especially? No thank you. I’d much rather make my own so I know exactly what’s in it, and not have all those unpronounceable preservatives and artificial flavorings wrecking havoc in my body. Plus, I think homemade taste so much better.
The following recipe couldn’t be easier to make and taste like pumpkin pie. What a delicious way to start your day.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, whisk all the ingredients together.
Heat until the mixture begins to steam, stirring occasionally, then remove from heat.
Pour the creamer through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
Let cool, then store in the fridge in an air-tight container.

I must tell you that I’ve never tasted such creamer.
Pumpkin is rarely used here for sweets, and we don’t even have cans of pumpkin puree.
But is looks like something I’d love!!
i just love coffee with different flavored cream, thanks for a great idea! found you on the mostly homemade blog party.
