I never really cared for Peeps as a child, those marshmallow-y fluff’s of candy, shaped into little chicks. While they look cute, I could never acquire a taste for them… until now. When I first saw the recipe for S’meeps, Smore’s + Peeps, (Isn’t that a cute name?} I had to give them a try. {There are lots of recipes out there for S’meeps, but I’ll give the credit to the first blog I seen that had christened them with that cute name, Serious Eats. What do S’meeps taste like? Why just like s’mores, which I love, only with the extra crunch of sugar, plus a fun splash of color. I was hooked after my first bite. Now when your family and friends load your child up with those cute Peeps candies you’ll know exactly what to do, make S’meeps!
S’meeps ~ S’mores + Peeps!
4 Peeps (1 package)
4 graham crackers, separated into 8 halves
4-1 ounce squares of chocolate
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Place a 1-ounce square of chocolate on 4 of the graham cracker halves. Top each chocolate with a Peep.
Place them on an aluminum foil covered cookie sheet and pop them in the oven for 2 to 3 minutes. Watch them carefully as the Peeps can burn quickly.
Once the Peeps are toasted to your liking, take them out of the oven and cover them with a graham cracker half. Squish and enjoy!

How Darling is this.. and looks so easy and pretty with the Spring colors.. thanks for sharing with us..
Thank you Joann, and thanks for dropping by to take a look.
The poor Peeps. This is almost as cruel as microwaving them just to watch them blow up.
I’m definitely going to have to make these with the kids though. So easy, and I know we’d love them. I’m really curious to see how the texture is with the extra sugar coating that’s on the outside of the peeps.
lol I know right? Good bye poor chicks.
Seriously these are really good, and the sugar coating of the peeps isn’t that noticeable. It all melts into the gooey yummy-ness of the S’more.
Hilarious! And, Duh! Why didn’t I think of it?
I know, I thought the same thing when I seen the idea online. Why didn’t I think of that?
Soo awesomely cute! Love the colors!
They are so pretty. Cute and simple- the perfect combination.
I love the pop of color these have, it just makes them that much more of a fun dessert for the kids.
I’m always looking for easy recipes, that taste good too. This fits the bill perfectly.
So cute!
What a great idea! This may sound silly but I love getting peeps even though I don’t love eating them. They’re just so darn cute. I don’t normally eat marshmallows by themselves though, so this is a wonderful way to actually eat them!!! =)
