Homemade soft scrub is one of my favorite cleaners. It cuts through soap scum and grime without scratching the surfaces of my bathtub and sinks, and is super easy to make with only three simple ingredients. It also doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals such as bleach or ammonia. The amounts I have listed below make a small batch, which is perfect for cleaning a bathtub, or several sinks. You can easily double the ingredients for bigger jobs, because it stores well in a glass or plastic container with a lid if you have any leftovers. If you need a little more oomph for a tough cleaning job, add 1 tablespoon of salt for extra scouring power.
Add the baking soda and Dawn together in a bowl and stir well to make a paste.
Add in the water, starting with 1 tablespoon and stir well. If you want the mixture thinner, go ahead and add the other tablespoon of water.
Rub the mixture over your tub or sink with a damp sponge, then rinse with water.
Notes
1 tablespoon of salt may be added for extra scouring power is desired.
If you have any soft scrub mixture left over, it can be stored in a glass or plastic container with a lid.

Since you mentioned it, Dawn is a product that I truly count on to work as is advertised….it’s the greatest. It cleans up a messy pan or anything that is hard to clean, and I haven’t even tried the Platinum Dawn, yet.
Can’t believe I’m gushing over a product!
I need to try this!
It’s easy and I have these 2 ingredients
Thanks!
