I for one refuse to use something to clean my house, that is a threat to my families health. Not when non-toxic cleaners do just as an effective job. Homemade soft scrub is one of my favorite cleaners. It cuts through soap scum and grime without scratching the surfaces of my bathtub and sinks, and is super easy to make with only three simple ingredients. It also doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals such as bleach or ammonia. The amounts I have listed below make a small batch, which is perfect for cleaning a bathtub, or several sinks. You can easily double the ingredients for bigger jobs, because it stores well in a glass or plastic container with a lid if you have any leftovers. If you need a little more oomph for a tough cleaning job, add 1 tablespoon of salt for extra scouring power.
