Clean Your Shower Head With Vinegar

If your shower head is clogged with years of build-up from mineral deposits in the water, it needs a thorough cleansing. Instead of reaching for harsh chemicals which may damage you and your shower head just use vinegar!

Here is a picture of my shower head during the vinegar treatment. As you can see it really needed it.

Fill a plastic bag with vinegar and wrap it around the shower head. Secure the bag around the head with a rubber band or tape. Leave the bag around the shower head for a couple of hours. Remove the bag and turn on the water for a minute to clear the vinegar out of the shower head. Wipe with a damp cloth and your shower head should now run freely and look amazing.

And here it is after the treatment. Wow, I’m impressed! This frugal tip really works!

Preventing Acne With Apple Cider Vinegar

Preventing Acne With Apple Cider Vinegar
To help prevent acne, moisten a cotton ball with some apple cider vinegar mixed with an equal amount of water and dab it on your face, avoiding the eye area. Do this after a shower or washing your face. Vinegar helps restore the skin’s natural pH balance, while it acts as an astringent to help tighten pores. In just a few days, your complexion should look healthier. People with sensitive skin may not be able to use this toner at all.
