Paleo and Primal Thanksgiving Recipe Roundip

Out of all the holidays, Thanksgiving is my favorite. A holiday centered around family, thankfulness and amazing food is the perfect way to spend time with our loved ones, without all of the hustle and glitz the other holidays seem to encourage.

This is my first time cooking Primal foods for my favorite holiday. And while my family stubbornly refused to give up some of their favorites, I think I have found a happy medium in what to serve. Since this is my first time preparing foods that fit my new way of eating, I turned to the internet and some of my favorite blogs in order to find some proven recipes that would fit in with what I’m used to cooking. Cottage Pie - Primalfied

With Fall quickly turning into Winter here in Southern Indiana, our menu has turned to filling comfort foods. For us that means lots of hearty soups, stews, and casseroles. One of our favorite casseroles on the homestead is Cottage Pie.
