Fruit can be a great snack that will satisfy your hunger, as well as your sweet tooth. But to make it REALLY special and filling, serve it up with some yogurt dip. I use Greek yogurt in this recipe. One, because I like it the best, as it’s thicker then regular yogurt and makes for a more substantial dip, and two, because Greek yogurt has almost double the amount of protein.
This fruit dip is creamy and absolutely delicious paired up with your choice of fresh fruit, and couldn’t be simpler to make. Another bonus, my kids aren’t big fruit eaters, but if I serve it up with this yogurt dip, they devour it.
Vanilla Yogurt Honey Fruit Dip
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt
- 2 - 4 tablespoons honey (Depending on how sweet you like it).
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (Depending on how much you like cinnamon).
- Fresh fruit of your choice (I like apple slices tossed with a little orange juice to keep them from browning).
Directions
- Stir together the yogurt, honey, vanilla and cinnamon in a bowl until well blended.
- Serve chilled with fresh fruit.
Notes
Dip will keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days, if it doesn't get eaten before then!
